Wheeled Items on school property

Thanks for a great first week!  I have had several inquiries about skateboards, scooters, skates, and bikes this week and wanted to share with you State Risk Management and Jordan School District guidelines and policies.  Skateboards, scooters, skates, wheelie shoes, and bikes can not be ridden/used on school property.  This applies to all ages of persons young to old.  When on school property these items must be walked, carried, or removed from feet.  Scooters, bikes, and skateboards may be kept in the enclosed bike rack area.  Skates can be placed inside an average size backpack if they fit.  Wheels from shoes should be removed and placed in backpack as well.  Because of space/safety issues skateboards, scooters and skates outside of a backpack may not be stored in the classroom.  Hope this answers your questions.  Fox Hollow students rock!  They are well behaved and respectful.  I am enjoying working with you and your students.
