Fox Hollow Logo

We are seeking input on our logo.  We had several students submit some design concepts.  Chad Margetts from the District's Information Systems has worked up the following three Logos.  Give us your input on which design you like best or share with us your design concept.  You can comment on the blog (http://foxhollowelem.blogspot.com), email terri.summers@jordan.k12.ut.us, or fax design concepts to (801)567-8050.

    I think the foxes need to be drawn vs photos. It's an Elementary School, so something a little more whimsical should be pursued.

    I agree with pdbuzz. The Fox/logo should be drawn-like a character from a cartoon.

    The designs need to be more cartoon like the children will not be attracted and proud to say i have a picture of i fox and my logo. Kids will wonder were did the imagination of the school go isn't that what they encourage form us to expand and use our imagination when they don't use theirs.

    I also agree that the fox should be drawn instead of a photo. However, if I had to choose among the 3 designs, I like #3.

    I don't think it's necessary to be a cartoon. I like #1 or #3 the best!

    I agree with pdbuzz also. They logo needs to be a drawing. Something not only that the kids could endeavor to copy themselves, but something that would look good when photocopied. Let's be realistic with funding. Many things will end up photocopied and the choices available are not going to photocopy well. Also the coloring could require many users to input a photo as their letterhead which can look tacky. The pictures are okay, but just don't seem to be very friendly to either the children or professional communication from the school.

    I vote design #2. If the mascot is going to be the "red tails" then we should show off the tail. We aren't the red faces and the option #3 just doesn't make any sense to me. I agree about making it a bit more cartoon or a drawing, the real life looking photo just doesn't fit with the rest of the logo for me.

    Thanks for all your comments! Logo one received the most votes from students and parents. Logo 1 will be used on our website. A graphic rendering was also submitted that can be used on letter head etc. We are accepting other graphic renderings as well if there are those who would like to submit them.
