Red Ribbon Week

Dear Parents and Students,

Next week, October 22-26, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week.  We celebrate Red Ribbon Week to teach our kids the importance of drug prevention.  Have you ever wondered where this tradition started or what the story is behind Red Ribbon Week?  Here is the story if you would like to read it and share it with your children:

We have many fun activities planned throughout the week for your students and here are a few...

We will be dressing up each day:

Monday - "Red Ribbon Awareness"  Wear red
Tuesday - "Stomp out Drugs" wear boots
Wednesday - "Put a lid on drugs" wear hats
Thursday - "Follow your dreams, don't do drugs" wear pajamas
Friday - "Turn your back on drugs" wear clothes backwards

Please take this week as an opportunity to talk to your kids about drug prevention as prevention is the best treatment.  Thanks for all you do to help keep our kids safe.

Happy Red Ribbon Week!
