Arena Scheduling

In an effort to empower parents, Fox Hollow will be piloting Arena Scheduling for Elementary Schools for the 2012-2013 school year.  Fox Hollow is one of three elementary schools piloting this program.  Arena Scheduling was successfully piloted in secondary schools this school year and most secondary schools will be doing Arena Scheduling for the 2012-2013 school year.

In Arena Scheduling parents schedule their child into their class.  When a class is full the class closes and another choice is made.  Scheduling can be done from home or at the school if internet access is needed.  Grade levels will open at different times to enable parents to be able to schedule multiple children if necessary.

Kindergarten parents will schedule their child for a.m. or p.m. sessions in April.  Scheduling into a teacher's class will open August 15 and remain open until August 22 for all grades K-6.

On March 7 - March 8 Arena Scheduling training will take place in the computer lab at Fox Hollow during Parent Teacher Conferences.  District and school personnel will be available to demonstrate the process and answer any questions.  Multiple 15 minute sessions will be offered.  A schedule will be posted in the computer lab.
